Le’Mil L. Eiland is thrilled to join American Players Theatre as Assistant Director for As You Like It, marking his first collaboration with APT. He is a director and movement-based theatre artist whose work centers poetic text, physical storytelling, and imaginative staging. Eiland’s assistant directing credits include Hamlet at Illinois Shakespeare Festival. He has supported directors in shaping both classical and contemporary works. As a director, his recent projects include Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Red by John Logan. Le’Mil sends a heartfelt thank you to his family, friends, and The Collective Theatre Company as he continues his journey in theatre.
