George Bernard Shaw’s unique brand of wit returns to the Hill stage for the first time in a decade. Brilliant Vivie Warren has just completed her schooling in advanced mathematics and returns home to begin her career in earnest. Her mother, who hasn't been a big part of Vivie's life, and whose source of income is shrouded in mystery, finally takes an interest in who Vivie sees and what she does. With a string of suitors knocking at her door, Vivie slowly learns the town's secrets, and the profession that has kept her mother rolling in money all this time.
