Marcela Lorca is a director/choreographer. Credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (OSF), Julius Caesar (Old Globe), Anna in the Tropics (Asolo), December (Alley Theater), Stir (Old Globe), Stones in His Pockets (Latte Da), Helen, Twelfth Night, Emilia, Comedy of Errors,Thunder Knocking on the Door, Iphigenia, The Winter’s Tale, Into the Woods (Ten Thousand Things), Caroline; Or Change (Guthrie, Syracuse Stage), The Count of Monte Cristo (OSF), Burial at Thebes, Crimes of the Heart, (Guthrie), Blood Wedding (Guthrie, Kansas City Rep) Disgraced (Guthrie, McCarter, Milwaukee Rep), The House of the Spirits (Mixed Blood) Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike, and Scorched (Syracuse Stage). She received the 2019 Zelda Fichandler Award for her transformative impact, driven by her work in directing, devising, choreographing, and co-founding two actor training programs. Marcela served as Movement Director and Director of Company Development at the Guthrie Theater and Artistic Director of Ten Thousand Things Theater.
