Tricia Stogsdill

Tricia Stogsdill (she/her) is currently a tenured theatre instructor and the Director of Theatre & Film at Allen Community College in Kansas. In the summer she considers American Players Theatre her artistic home away from home! As a director, she has led over 20 productions and has been awarded American College Theatre Festival Region V Certificates of Meritorious Achievement in Direction, Choreography, and Film Production. She is also an award-winning designer with ACTF awards in Scenic & Properties Design, Lighting Design, and Makeup/Wig Design. Before working in academia, she worked as a Wig Assistant at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN, and her design credits include Theatre Latte Da, The Jungle Theatre, and Artistry. Other production credits include the Contemporary American Theater Festival (WV), Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater, and Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Tricia holds an MFA in Theatrical Design and Production with an emphasis in Wigs & Makeup from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music and is a member of the University Film and Video Association.
