What inspired the creation of Love Lingo, and how did it all begin?

Love Lingo Positive Apparel was inspired by the groundbreaking work of Dr. Emoto’s water studies, which showed how words and intentions can change the molecular structure of water. Since the human body is mostly water, that insight sparked a powerful realization—what we wear and the words we surround ourselves with can directly influence how we feel, think, and show up in the world.

That idea became the foundation of Love Lingo.

Founded on July 1, 2017, every piece we create is intentionally designed to do more than look good—it’s meant to shift energy. Our apparel is printed on both the front and back, surrounding you in positive messages and uplifting energy throughout your day.

Do you have any events or experiences coming up this summer?

On July 15th, we celebrate our 7th Annual Worldwide Wear Love Lingo Positive Apparel Day—a global movement inviting people everywhere to wear something positive, intentional, and uplifting.

Whether it’s a Love Lingo shirt or your favorite message tee promoting love, peace, kindness, or anti-bullying, the intention is powerful: raise the collective vibration.

This event began during a time when the world needed light the most—and today, it continues to unite thousands of people across the globe in one shared moment of positivity. Everyone can participate. Why do you love being part of this community?

We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the American Players Theatre community, as well as the greater Driftless region of Southwest Wisconsin—a place that naturally attracts creativity, authenticity, and connection.

There’s something truly special about APT—the shared experience, the presence, the appreciation for storytelling and human connection. That same energy aligns beautifully with what Love Lingo is all about.

We also deeply resonate with the holistic wellness and optimist communities. These are people who believe in growth, intention, and the power of positive energy—values that are woven into everything we create.

Whether at a performance, in the community, or online, we love connecting with people who are open, inspired, and committed to making a positive impact.

What other stops would you recommend for people visiting the Spring Green area?

Of course, a must-experience destination is American Players Theatre—there’s truly nothing like it. It’s an unforgettable blend of nature, storytelling, and connection that everyone should experience at least once. I personally go many times a year and of course picnic every time!

Personally, I love spending time at Governor Dodge State Park—whether it’s hiking, relaxing at the beach, fishing, or unwinding by the waterfalls. It’s the perfect place to recharge and connect with nature.

You also won’t want to miss some of the area’s iconic attractions like Taliesin, House on the Rock, and Cave of the Mounds—each offering a unique and memorable experience.

There’s so much beauty, creativity, and inspiration in this area—it’s absolutely worth exploring.
