Tucked into the rolling hills of Spring Green, Wisconsin, Victoria Sterling Antiques is a destination for those who believe beauty should have a story. Specializing in English antique and vintage jewelry, the shop offers a carefully curated collection of Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, and Art Deco treasures, each chosen for its craftsmanship, character, and romance. Beyond jewelry, visitors discover European antiques, elegant gifts, books, textiles, candles, chocolates, and objects that bring warmth and personality into everyday life.
Victoria Sterling Antiques is known for blending the charm of a traditional antique shop with the excitement of discovery. Every case and shelf holds something unexpected, from glowing old cut diamonds to hand crafted silver from celebrated makers. Whether visiting in person after a day on the Wisconsin River or shopping online from across the world, customers are welcomed into a world where history, artistry, and beauty still matter.
Victoria Sterling is not a single person, but a character shaped by a lifetime spent surrounded by antiques, stories, and beautiful old things. Created by a longtime resident of the rolling hills of Wyoming Valley, the mythos grew out of a childhood in the suburbs of Philly, spending Friday nights at auctions and Sundays at flea markets alongside siblings and family. Antique jewelry became second nature early on, selling pieces at outdoor fairs before she was tall enough to see over the counter.
After earning degrees in history and design from the University of Wisconsin, she began wholesaling antique jewelry across the country before moving into online sales in 2008. In 2021, Victoria Sterling Antiques opened its doors in her adopted hometown of Spring Green. Her first local job was with APT, an experience she still credits for giving her an early start in the community and lifelong friends.
One thing people are often surprised to learn is that Victoria Sterling Antiques, despite being tucked into a small town in rural Wisconsin, has built a worldwide following. Pieces from the shop have found homes across the globe, and over the years the business has quietly attracted collectors, designers, and a number of well known public figures and celebrities. While discretion is part of the culture of the business, it still feels remarkable that the jewelry from here can end up on such unexpected people.
Visitors are also often surprised by how much history and scholarship goes into the shop. Antique jewelry is not just decoration, it is wearable history. Every ring, pendant, or locket carries the artistry, symbolism, and human stories of another era. Much of the collection is sourced directly from England and Europe, and every piece is carefully researched and chosen for its beauty, craftsmanship, and character.

For audiences of the classics, Victoria Sterling Antiques feels like a natural extension of the experience they come to Spring Green to find. Much like the performances beneath the trees, the shop is rooted in beauty, storytelling, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for the past. Visitors often find themselves equally enchanted by a Victorian sapphire ring, a hand hammered Arts and Crafts pendant, or a silver locket carrying traces of another century’s life and romance.
The shop offers the same sense of transport that makes theater so powerful. Stepping inside feels less like shopping and more like wandering into a carefully composed world of history, character, and discovery. Alongside antique jewelry are European finds, thoughtful gifts, books, textiles, candles, and beautiful objects chosen with an artist’s eye. It is the sort of place where conversations linger and every object seems to carry its own quiet monologue.
What I love most about being part of Spring Green is the sense of community that exists here. This is a place where people truly know each other, where neighbor looks out for neighbor, and where kindness and creativity feel woven into everyday life. There is something rare and wonderful about living in a town where people are encouraged to be exactly who they are. Individuality is not just accepted here, it's celebrated.
That spirit is very much at the heart of Victoria Sterling Antiques. The shop was created not simply as a place to buy beautiful things, but as a place to slow down, connect, and discover something meaningful. Whether someone leaves with a Victorian diamond ring, a funny sticker, a bar of chocolate, or simply a memorable conversation, the hope is that they leave feeling more inspired than when they arrived. In many ways, the shop reflects the town itself: welcoming, unexpected, and filled with character.
Our town may be small, but it's filled with extraordinary people and incredible spirit. Artists, actors, musicians, writers, farmers, shopkeepers, and dreamers all somehow coexist in a way that feels welcoming and genuine. Alongside its world class theater, remarkable architecture, and natural beauty, there is a warmth here that makes people feel at home almost immediately. Every time I drive through the valleys, over the river and into town, I feel grateful to be part of it.
Tony award-winning American Players Theatre, Frank Lloyd Wright's home of Taliesin, the quirky fun of The House on the Rock and the natural beauty of the parks and trails and river are not to be missed.
Spring Green’s vibrant downtown, with its beloved independent bookstore, wonderful restaurants, and unique locally owned shops, rounds out the experience and makes a visit here feel both inspiring and unforgettable.
