Can't get enough of breathtaking Driftless views? Sunrise Haven offers an ideal place to rest and recharge surrounded by a stunning panorama of the Wisconsin River Valley. Five generations have grown up fishing, hiking and kayaking on this secluded but central spot, and now they'd like to share it with you. We caught up with owner Kenny Anderson to talk about opening up his home to guests and the unmatched beauty of Southwestern Wisconsin in this week's Area Guide Spotlight.

From our family to yours - welcome to Sunrise Haven: a rustic log cabin nestled high in the Driftless hills of Southwest Wisconsin that overlooks farmland, a Class I trout stream and woodland. We invite you to enjoy the peace, connection to nature and outdoor adventure that we truly treasure. Hiking in the woods, watching wildlife and stargazing by the campfire await.
Our family has cherished this view for five generations so we wanted to share it with others who would enjoy it as much as we have. Watching the sunrise in the morning with a cup of coffee is so peaceful.
In Southwestern Wisconsin, we have some of the best trout fishing streams in the state. Also we enjoy having access to kayaking the Pine and Wisconsin Rivers. Make sure to get outside on our next visit.
While remote, we are still just a short drive to many of our area's greatest attractions that make SW WI a great place to visit. We are only 24 miles from American Players Theatre and 42 miles from Wisconsin Dells. A perfect place to establish a base camp for all your summer adventures.
